Friends Nature Series

The first Friends’ Nature Series for the year is scheduled for Tuesday, February 3rd. Our speaker will be Kate Spratt, Park Services Specialist at Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. Ms. Spratt’s topic will be Manatees, Rescues and Rehab, and she will be sharing her passion, energy, and nearly a decade of hands-on experience working with one of Florida’s most beloved animals, the manatee. See attached flyer for more details. The lecture will be held at 6pm in the Refuge’s classroom. There is no cost to attend, but seating is limited. Save the Date: Annual Meeting

📍 George Washington Carver Building (95 Three Sisters Springs Trail, Crystal River 34429)
The Annual Meeting of The Friends of the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge Complex, Inc. will take place on Sunday, February 15th at 2pm at the George Washington Carver building in Crystal River. Our featured speaker will be Dr. Mike Walsh, Clinical Associate Professor of Aquatic Animal Health with the University of Florida.
